Horizon Training has been in operation since 1981 providing specialised training in mechanical engineering, it is conveniently situated on the Knowsley Business Park close to local bus routes and the motorway network.

We work closely with Knowsley and St Helens colleges, as well as local engineering and manufacturing companies, to develop young people and aquire them with the appropriate skills for a career in engineering

Horizon Training has a tradition within the local engineering industry of delivering high quality training and motivated staff. Horizon is very successful at placing learners into employment.

Mechanical engineering covers the disciplines of welding, fabrication, bench fitting and machining which involves the use of lathes, millers and drilling machines. Our Tutors have all had successful careers in industry and are now here to pass their skills onto the next generation of engineers.

We can provide young people with a range of practical skills that will stay with them for the rest of their life. Even if you decide not to continue with a long term career in engineering, these skills will serve you well in the home and enhance your DIY skills.
